Appreciation Week

Continuing our Appreciation Week, meet Bedford Gull, presently in the care of our amazing rehabber, Jane Taylor.

Like many of the gulls that we have rescued and supported, handsome Bedford owes his future to Jane. He has received rest, recuperation time, medication and good food. He is now on ‘day release’ in one of our safe gardens to allow him to practice taking to the skies again.

Jane is an inspiration to all of us here at North Wales Wild Bird Care, her compassion for the gulls in her care is evident in all that she does.

Daily she not only cares for those in her care, providing a safe space for rehabilitation, but also is often the first call for a gull in need, attending rescues and recoveries in the Rhyl area, as many of our supporters can confirm.

The biggest THANK YOU – we really couldn’t do it without you!

We desperately need more rehabbers and safe spaces, especially as chick season approaches – each space eases the pressure on our rehabbers and gives another gull a chance.
